John Arundell, knight = (1)

 

Stephen Olyuer = (2)

 

(1) to (2), all the messuages, lands and tenements which John Olyuer previously held of (1) in the vill of Meyngen, namely a moiety of the vill, together with right of reasonable estover of furze and turbary (de iampn' blesturis et turbar') in the moorlands, moors and lands (land' moris et terr') of the vill; for (2) and his heirs of body to hold; reserving to (1) toll of tin. Rent during the first 120 years, 9s yearly at the 4 terms usual in the manor of Penpol, plus suit of (l)'s court twice yearly in the manor of Penpol, and a best beast as heriot. After 120 years, rent 20s yearly. If (2) should die without heir of his body, the lands shall remain to John son of John Olyuer and his heirs of body; with remainder, in default of such heirs, to William Olyuer and his heirs of body; with remainder, in default of such heirs, to John Wolcok Olyuer and his heirs of body; with remainder, in default of such heirs, to Mariota daughter of John Olyuer and her heirs of body; with remainder, in default of such heirs, to Joan daughter of John Olyuer and her heirs of body.
