History: Born in c. 1776 in East Retford, Nottinghamshire. Admitted to Peterhouse, Univeristy of Cambridge on 14 May 1798. Graduated with a BA in 1802. Ordained a deacon on 19 Dec 1802 at Chapel Bishop's Palace Fulham, London. He married Margaret Ann Marsh on 19 June 1828 and they had the following children: Mary Anne (c1829); John Henry (c1830-c1910); Richard (c1832); Margaret (c1833); Elizabeth (c1836); Henry (c1838) and Julia (c1839). John Henry Hutchinson (c1830-c1910) followed his father to Cambridge (Trinity), but did not graduated. John Henry's son, also John Henry (1858-1890), also went to Cambridge (Trinity) and became an ordained priest, like his grandfather. Richard died on 23 April 1856 at East Retford, Nottinghamshire.
