History: | Graduated with a BA (1942) and MA (1945) from St Edmund Hall, Oxford. He became a deacon in 1944 and was ordained in 1945. From 1944-1946 he was at the Church of St Clement, Oxford. Followed by the Curate in Charge of St Martin & All Saints, Oxford until 1949. He was rector of Easton-on-the-Hill from 1949 until 1946, when he moved to Beeselsleight with Dry Sandford & Cothill, Oxford until his retire in 1985. From 1971-1978 he was a lecturer at Wycliffe Hall, Oxford. |
