History: The Lads of the Village was a charitable organisation based in Aldershot, whose objective was to raise money for the local needy and good causes. They were formed in 1930, originally just to help with the Aldershot Hospital Carnival Fund of 1930, but decided to continue to raise money and relieve local suffering. Over the years their area of fundraising extended to include Farnham and Farnborough, and they disbanded in 2010.
