  • Alexandra Palace is undergoing restoration thanks to a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund. The project will reopen the currently derelict historic spaces, including the Victorian Theatre, East Court and BBC Studios - site of the world's first high-definition television service in 1936
  • The archive of the Park and Palace is currently being catalogued to be incorporated into the restoration plans. A digitisation programme will provide access whilst they complete building works, they will then be able to open access to the archive after they reopen from 2018
