Description:

Register of Marriages, Births and Baptisms, 16 Survey Company Royal Engineers (Described at item level).

The volume consists of two parts:

  • Index preceding the register on unnumbered pages
  • Register on pages 1 to 336. Pages 217 to 218 missing, probably removed whilst register was in use. Pages 263 to 265 missing, stuck together. Pages 271 to 272 missing, probably removed whilst register was in use.
The Register has been indexed. The Index has not been indexed but should be consulted as it may record additional information such as the date of a soldier's death, transfer or discharge.
