Office of the Auditors of Land Revenue and predecessors: Receivers' Accounts, Series I
The core of this series consists of receivers' accounts of crown lands in England and Wales prepared by the auditors of the Court of Augmentations before 1554, and by the auditors of land revenue thereafter.
Also found, however, are miscellaneous accounts of the receivers general of the household, of taxes and of all arrears of the land revenues, which were also audited by the auditors of land revenue.
There are also receivers' accounts relating to the jointures of the seventeenth century queens consort: Anne of Denmark, Henrietta Maria and Catherine of Braganza.
