| Description: | In the parish summaries datasets, agricultural parishes in England and Wales are identified by codes which appear in the AG_PARISH field in the “PARISH” tables. These codes take the form of a four or five digit number, with the first two digits denoting the county and the remaining digits denoting the individual parish. This dataset is effectively a lookup table for the “counties” component of the parish codes, i.e. it can be used to identify the county within which an agricultural parish was situated. |
