Title: Agricultural and Horticultural Census: Parish Summaries 1995
Description:

This dataset is derived from the data for main agricultural holdings which was collected by the Agricultural and Horticultural Census held in England and Wales on 1 June 1995. The dataset is based on information from Census returns completed by farmers and growers, and also on records for agricultural and horticultural holdings which were constructed using statistical techniques to ensure that the dataset covered 100% of main holdings. Unlike previous parish summaries datasets, the dataset comprises two tables, one covering parishes in England and the other parishes in Wales. The fields in the two tables are essentially identical, and are of two main types: 'values' fields which record the aggregated responses for each parish relating to a particular question on the Census form, and 'counts' fields which record the number of holdings in the parish to which the data relates.
