Catalogue description Court of King's Bench: Book of Common Prayer

A copy of the 1662 edition of the prayer book, certified and delivered to the Court of King's Bench under the provisions of the Act of Uniformity 1662 to be kept as a record copy.

A copy of an order in Council of 1801, making amendments to the text consequent upon the act of union between Great Britain and Ireland, is bound in. The book is attached to letters patent under the great seal, dated 5 January 1663, which exemplifies the certification.
