Registered files created in the Welsh Department of the Ministry of Education and Department of Education and Science relating to teacher training colleges and the Institute of Education attached to the University of Wales.

The files contain correspondence with the various institutions. The subjects covered include the proportion of male to female students, teaching through the medium of Welsh, expansion of teacher and student numbers in the 1960's; finance papers, and the expansion and provision of new premises.
