Private papers and other materials relating to the life and career of Sir Henry Reader Lack, who served at the Board of Trade from 1852 to 1876 are in BT 191. A few files of the private office of the permanent secretary to the board have been preserved in BT 91. Papers of Lord Brown (Wilfred Brown), Minister of State are in BT 378 and minutes of meetings, 1964-1970 are in BT 379. There are no records for 1909-1945.
