Description: GWAR: Renegades and Persons suspected or convicted of assisting the Enemy: PERRY, Arthur William Gordon; suspected of working for the German secret service and the Gestapo, of broadcasting propaganda for German radio and of being an informer during his internment in Germany. Includes a statement by Perry claiming that he had been forced to co-operate with the Nazis, together with interrogation reports and statements obtained from his associates and acquaintances in Germany. Also includes reasons given by the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions for not prosecuting the case against Perry, mainly due to insufficient evidence.865113 sub 1
