Description:

Oliver Charles GREEN, alias Tommy SUMMERS: British. A known communist since 1936 and a volunteer to the International Brigade, he was arrested in London in January 1942 for forging petrol coupons. GREEN was jailed for the forgery, and while there was interviewed by MI5 on the other matters. He admitted recruitment as a Russian spy while in Spain and gave some information (possibly in part untrue). He refused to identify sub-agents, though he claimed to have run some.
