This series consists of original interlocutories which were originally loose papers that were later bound into volumes. They all relate to appeals in prize cases (ships captured from an enemy in time of war).
An interlocutory decree is pronounced during the course of an action; unlike a definitive sentence or final decree, it is not finally decisive of a case or suit, and can relate to a provisional decision in a case.
