    This series contains miscellaneous records of the clerk of the crown. The two earliest items are rolls and presentments at Quarter Sessions, 1472-1473 (with three gaol deliveries) and 1668-1672. The remainder of the series mainly consists of Assize records: formal records of criminal proceedings, 1662-1775; precepts returned with nomina ministrorum and jury panels, 1702-1738; a file of justices' certificates of highway repairs, 1755-1781; two files of assize papers, including informations, depositions, writs of habeas corpus and notices to justices on prisoners being admitted to bail, 1750-1792 and 1806-1815 a file of consents to enter noli prosequis, 1750-1777; miscellaneous papers, 1738-1815; and a wine book at Assize and Chancery sittings, 1771-1776.
