The records cover the work of the Pesticides Safety Directorate (PSD) in the registration of agricultural pesticides. This includes licensing (approvals) files (the evaluation of data studies supplied by manufacturers for active ingredients and adjuvants and the issuing of approval documents), minutes and papers of the Advisory Committee on Pesticides and its panels, the work of PSD interpreting and applying EU directives, and a number of other policy initiatives such as the Schools Fruit and Vegetable Scheme, and work around the Royal Commission on Environmental Pollution.
The records will include databases recording PSD's work approving pesticides and monitoring incidents impacting on the environment.
