Entry books of decrees and orders kept by the registrars of the court of Chancery, whose duty it was to attend the court and to record the orders, decrees and dismissals.
The entries include a record of any orders made during the course of a case and the final judgement, as well as the date for the recording of affidavits or depositions, of the hearing, the final decree and the judgement.
Digital images of some of the records in this series are available through the Anglo-American Legal Tradition website. Please note that The National Archives is not responsible for this website or its content.
