  • KV 31905-1978The Security Service: Subject (SF series) Files

The early part of this series comprises the only two subject files known to have survived from the First World War period . Later files in the series relate to other subjects tackled by the Security Service, including the recovery of British official documents recovered by raids on ARCOS Ltd, and documents seized in police raids on Communist Party Headquarters in 1925, the German secret services during the Second World War and the activities of British fascist groups and sympathisers. There are also some files relating to various Jewish and Zionist groups during the Second World War and in the last years of the Palestine mandate. Further files deal with the activities of the international communist movement and organisation of the Soviet Intelligence network.

SD in the list stands for Sicherheitsdienst (the German Security Service) and RSHA for Reichssicherheitshauptamt (Reich Security Main Office).
