This series consists of evidence heard during the inquiry into the fire at King's Cross underground station on 18 November 1987. The evidence includes photographs, plans and the station's log book as well as technical reports by expert witnesses.
A final report of the inquiry is included.
Also included are copies of papers of the Interdepartmental Inquiry into the fire.
A three dimensional model of the station was made for the Inquiry and presented by the Department of Transport to London Underground Ltd under section 2(6) of the Public Records Act 1958. The model is now kept at their White City Training Centre.
