The majority of these records consist of files from the SD series dealing with the preparation, enactment, amendment and implementation of legislation governing a wide range of subjects including employment, working conditions, unemployment insurance, disability, compensation and national service. They deal also with legal proceedings arising from this legislation. The series also contains material relating to the Conventions of the International Labour Organization.
