FRANK - born 21.08.1906 The subject of this file is known throughout only by his code name, FRANK. He was a naturalised Canadian who was born in Cattona, Italy, and served as a guardsman in the Governor General's Footguards before being trained at STS 103 in December 1942. His father is named as Angelo, also a naturalised Canadian, and his mother, deceased, was Pauline. He was married with four children living in Ottawa, and had relatives in Italy, including a cousin in Rome of the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. In SOE he was part of U Section. |
