Catalogue description Colonial Office: Chief Clerk Original Correspondence

This series comprises the correspondence, mostly of a later date than 1901, of the Chief Clerk and the General Department on such formal matters as precedence, seals, the consecration of colonial bishops, medals, titles, the Coronation, and the drafting of governors' instructions.
