Description:

Legend: + POSVI / DEVM o A / DIVTOR / EM o MEV CIVI / TAS / EBO / RACI / Coin face: worn in two quadrants, possibly due to rusting then cleaning; letters are faint, but enough remain to allow the rest to be deduced; bevelled edge. Striking face: V-shaped fractures around rim; part of flange turned under. Die is fractured from striking face to coin face along the length of shank, then c 18 mm. across coin face, following line of long cross and inner circle. Height 54 mm. Diameter of coin face with bevel 31 mm. Without bevel 29.5 mm.
