War Office: Headquarters West Africa Command and Allied Joint Staff: Papers
This series consists of headquarters papers of the West Africa Command and the Allied Joint Staff after the Second World War.
Also contained in this series are papers relevant to discussions held with French and Belgian authorities on military matters of common interest to their respective colonial territories.
The West Africa Command was formed at Accra in July 1940 and was disbanded there in July 1956.
