This series consists of the surviving files of General Headquarters of the British Expeditionary Force (BEF) in France plus various narratives, notes and summaries of operations written by the officers concerned after the evacuation of the BEF from Dunkirk in May 1940.
All papers marked with security gradings have now been declassified.
