Treasury: Registers of Papers
Brief entries of Treasury letters and papers, their subject matter, date, disposal, etc. From 1782 there is a contemporary numeration of the papers, but not all the originals entered in the registers will now be found under the number given there, many having been weeded out, and others transferred to later numbers.
The registers are in two series, an alphabetical and a numerical one, the former being subdivided from 1817 onwards into 'Individuals' and 'Public Offices'.
