Content: Folio 19. Draft letter from the Poor Law Commission to Charles Barstow, Clerk to the Guardians of the Halifax Poor Law Union, on the subject of James Sunderland. He is directed to call their attention to the letters, which they addressed on 8 December 1846, on the subject of the proceedings on the case of James Sunderland and family who had been removed to the Halifax Poor Law Union from the Keighley Workhouse, but who were sent back to Keighley. They ask that the Commission may be furnished with a reply to that letter at their earliest convenience. Paper Number: 1792/B/1847. Poor Law Union Number 571. Counties: Yorkshire West Riding.
